Andrew and Bernice Durand

Andrew and Bernice Durand of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage recently.

Durand married the former Bernice Meso on Sept. 14, 1957, at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Natrona.

They have four children, Denise Mikolay of Worthington, Bud (Dawn) Durand of Butler, Karen Woodard of Cranberry Township and Kelly (John) Goettler of Butler.

They also have eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Durand retired from Westinghouse, where he was an electrician.

Mrs. Durand is a retired nurse.

The Durands are members of St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.

The Durands also enjoy working as volunteers.
