Drug defendant arrested again
An Allegheny County man out on bond while awaiting trial on felony drug charges was arrested again, on heroin trafficking charges.
Taalibe A. Glover, 23, of Wilkinsburg is back in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail following his arrest Tuesday at a Butler Township convenience store.
He was previously released from the county prison in December after posting similar bail in the earlier drug case.
The Butler County Drug Task Force in the most recent case charged Glover in connection with a controlled drug buy Sept. 7 in Butler. The defendant, authorities said, sold 49 stamp bags of heroin to a police informant on West Brady Street.
District Judge William Fullerton arraigned Glover on felony charges of delivery and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled substance,
A preliminary hearing was not immediately set.
Butler police on Dec. 11, 2016, arrested Glover and another Allegheny County man following a traffic stop on Center Avenue.
Glover was later searched and found with $1,795 in currency. In his pockets, police said, he also had a small bag of marijuana and 10 pills of the psychoactive drug ecstasy.
While doing inventory of the car, according to court documents, police found a Mason jar containing 12 bags of marijuana and a plastic bottle with two marijuana buds in it.
He is charged with felony and misdemeanor drug possession. That case is pending trial.
