The United Way of Butler County is seeking volunteers for its Week of Caring, and the event begins in only five days.

A news release from the United Way said 32 projects throughout Butler County have volunteers committed, but 15 projects remain unmanned.

Landscaping, sorting and organizing clothing donations, small building and repair projects, event preparations and painting are some of the tasks volunteers complete.

The 22nd Week of Caring begins on Monday and runs through Oct. 6. Friends, families, co-workers and other groups volunteer to complete projects that benefit the community.
