Donald and Jessie Mae Thieleman celebrated 65 years of marriage.

Thieleman married the former Jessie Mae Purvis Sept. 5, 1952, in Winchester, Va.

They have two children, Virginia (Steve) Myerchin of Fort Collins, Colo., and Michael (Kim) Thieleman of O’Fallon, Ill.

They also have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Thieleman retired after 35 years at North Pittsburgh Telephone Company.

Mrs. Thieleman is a homemaker.

The Thielemans have been members of Mars Alliance Church, where Thieleman served as an elder for many years. Mrs. Thieleman sang in the choir and taught Sunday school.
