Black Diamond, featuring Butler County native Artie Black, will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at Butler Little Theatre, One Howard St. Tickets are $10 at the door or at bltgroup.org. The jazz quartet includes Black and Hunter Diamond playing saxophone, Neil Hemphill on drums and Katie Ernst on bass. A graduate of Knoch High School, Black is a saxophonist, composer and educator based in Chicago.

Music in the Courtyard series is scheduled to host Tony and Friends of God, Christian music, at 2 p.m. Sept. 17 at the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St. Call 724-287-1715.

The lunchtime concert series hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association features pianist Jessica Sanzotti at noon Wednesday at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. Admission is free. The concerts are broadcast in Diamond Park. Visit www.butlersymphony.org or call 724-283-1402.

James A. Ayres Amphitheater in Zelienople Community Park will be the site of Getting Dizzy in Zelie featuring Dizzy Woosh at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Harmony in the House presents Tommy Womack from Nashville at 7 p.m. Friday at Bottlebrush Gallery & Center for the Arts, 539 Main St., Harmony. Tickets are $15. Call 724-452-0539.

REGION

The Bach Society is beginning practice for its 2017-18 season. The first practice will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Tower Presbyterian Church, 248 S. Broad St., Grove City. Concerts are scheduled for Dec. 1 and 2 and May 4 and 5. Call 412-445-3909.
