Annual antique sale draws near
HARMONY — The Harmony Museum’s annual antique show and sale will be Sept. 16-17 at the Harmonist Barn Museum at 303 Mercer Road.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 per person. Proceeds benefit the Harmony Museum and its programs.
Dealers from Pennsylvania, Michigan and Indiana will offer antiques, including advertising, country and period furniture, ephemera, folk art, glass, jewelry, lighting, oriental, paintings, pottery, primitives, textiles, tools and toys. Tammy Gallagher of Sanford’s Antiques in Chicora is this year’s show chairman.
The show is held at what is billed as the region’s oldest barn, built in 1805, to shelter sheep of the communal Harmony Society of German Lutheran Separatists who founded Harmony.
