The Musicians’ Concert Band, led by conductor Jeff Kroner, will present The Gibbons Big Band at 7:30 p.m. today at the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium. The theme is “Puttin’ On the Ritz,” and the performance will be given in honor of William Perry (former Secretary of State) and his wife (who led a big band in the Butler area). Professional dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Youngstown, Ohio, will be joining the band for four numbers. This is the final concert of the Musicians Concert Band summer series. Admission is $5.
The free gazebo concert on the front lawn of the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road, at noon Friday will feature The Rock Jazz Trio from Grove City. Craig Zinger will present a Victor Borge-style show at noon Aug. 11. Take a lawn chair.
The free summer concert series at Alameda Park in Butler Township will feature the Kittanning Community Band at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Odd Fellow Gazebo.
The free lunchtime concert hosted by the Butler County Symphony Association features Tom Wotus, piano/voice, at noon Wednesday at the symphony office, 259 S. Main St. The concerts also are broadcast in Diamond Park.
Harmony’s Summer Concert Series presents The John Burgh Band at 7 p.m. Aug. 10 on the square. Take seating.
James A. Ayres Amphitheater in Zelienople Community Park will have a tribute to Neil Diamond by Chris Denem at 7 p.m. Aug. 12 for a luau at the pool.
Music in the Courtyard will present Cloud Chamber, made up of Christie Kecskemethy and Gary Kleemann who play string music, 2 p.m. Aug. 13 at the Butler Public Library, 218 N. McKean St.

Hartwood Acres’ outdoor amphitheater off Middle Road in Hampton Township hosts “Nick’s Fat City Night” featuring Gathering Field and Brownie Mary with guests Scott, Rob & Greg of the Clarks Acoustic, playing rock/pop/folk, at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
