JoAnn and Richard Ordy

Richard and JoAnn Ordy of Butler celebrated 55 years of marriage with a family dinner at Serventi’s Ristorante in Penn Township.

Ordy married the former JoAnn Johnson on July 15, 1962, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have three children, Linda (Patrick) Halloran of Pittsburgh, Susan (Steve) Balog of Cranberry Township and Karen (Dennis) Reep of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren.

Ordy was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

He is a member of St. Andrew Orthodox Church.

Mrs. Ordy retired from food services in the Butler School District.

She is a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
