Charles Zangas

CHERRY HILL, N.J. — Charles Zangas of Butler was a winner in the Heroes’ Legacy Scholarships for Children of Fallen or Disabled Service Members.

Zangas plans to major in computer science at Penn State University. During high school, he participated in numerous school and community activities, including marching band, mock trial team, youth and government, Japanese club and environmental club.

He is the son of Robert Zangas.

The scholarship is principally underwritten by proceeds from sales of “Of Thee I Sing. A Letter to my Daughters” by Barack Obama and also corporate sponsorships and private donations.
