Marcella and Walter Dawson

Walter L. and Marcella Dawson of Cabot celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Dawson married the former Marcella J. Siedlecki on June 21, 1952, at Holy Family Church in Lawrenceville.

They have five children, Debra (Chuck) Hinton of Houston, Walter L. (Linda) Dawson Jr. of Butler, Carol (Tom) Stotish of Butler, Robert Dawson of Butler and Ruth Gregory of Callery.

They also have eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Dawson is a retired meat cutter and farmer.

He is a member of Jefferson Center Presbyterian Church in Saxonburg.

Mrs. Dawson retired from Giant Eagle.

She is a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church of Coylesville.
