Robert and Esther Burdett

Robert and Esther Burdett of Boyers celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner.

Burdett married the former Esther Bowser on June 20,1957, in Laughlington.

They have two children, Sandy (Paul) Glass of Knox and Rhonda (Larry) Gifford of Boyers.

They also have two grandchildren.

Burdett is a retired minister.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957. He worked at Eljer and Pullman Standard and Asplundh and Novosel tree experts before entering the ministry.

Mrs. Burdett is a homemaker.

The Burdetts are members of the Church of God of Prophecy in Fertigs.
