Bruce Alan Cunningham

Bruce Alan Cunningham, 66, of Parker passed away Sunday, May 14, at UPMC-Presbyterian in Pittsburgh of natural causes.

Born in Butler on March 27, 1951, he was the son of the late James and Kathleen Cunningham.

Bruce attended Butler Senior High School and graduated from the U.S. Navy School of Music at Little Creek, Va.

He served as a musician in the U.S. Navy, and played with the Brooklyn Navy Yard Show Band.

A talented musician, he played drums for many local and regional bands throughout the years.

He also retired from Armco in Butler.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Louise Blair Cunningham who he married in 1976; son Devin (Angelica) Cunningham of Fort Wayne, Ind.; stepsons Daniel and Russell Blair of Parker; grandchild Myah of Clarion; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Matthew Cunningham.

CUNNINGHAM — No visitation is scheduled for Bruce Alan Cunningham, who died Sunday, May 14, 2017. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
