Cooper 60th anniversary
Cliff and Ruth Cooper of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a family dinner at Alameda Park in Butler.
Cooper married the former Ruth Leonard on June 22, 1957, at the First Church of God in New Castle.
They have three children, Linda (Allen) Alwine of Butler, Shirley Bruner of Butler and Sharon Bartmas of Butler.
They also have eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Cooper retired from the financial department of Pullman Standard in Butler.
He is a member of Connoquenessing Indians bowling league. He also is an active hunter.
Mrs. Cooper is a registered nurse and retired from Butler Memorial Hospital and the VA Medical Center.
She is a member of Nurses Alumni Association of Butler Memorial Hospital and the Red Hat group Red Bonnets and Bifocals.
The Coopers are active at North Main Street Church of God where Cooper is a Sunday school teacher.
They enjoy traveling, reading and time with their family.
