Helen and Sonny Morris

Sonny and Helen Morris of Prospect celebrated 45 years of marriage with a dinner at Iron Bridge Inn in Mercer. They also will celebrate with a Caribbean Cruise later this year.

The Morrises married on June 3, 1972, at St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.

They have two children, Carrie Whitmer of Butler and Troy Morris of Volant.

They also have two grandchildren.

Morris is a driver with Lindy Paving. He enjoys restoring vintage Mack trucks and cruising.

Mrs. Morris works at Scrapbook Super Station in layout and design. She enjoys traveling, cruising and scrapbooking.

The Morrises are members of St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
