Thomas and Sandra Pferdehirt

Thomas and Sandra Pferdehirt of Evans City celebrated 60 years of marriage and will have a family dinner later.

Pferdehirt married the former Sandra McKinney on April 27, 1957, at St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Evans City.

They have three children, Judy Guerriero of Erie, David Pferdehirt of Etters and Amy Giles Bhikha of Denver.

They also have five grandchildren.

Pferdehirt retired from Callery Chemical Co. as a chemist.He is a member of the Forward Township Planning Commission.Mrs. Pferdehirt retired from the Seneca Valley School District.The Pferdehirts are members of St. Peter's Anglican Church in Butler.They volunteer with Meals on Wheels and both enjoy kayaking, hiking and biking.
