Doris and George Heyl

George and Doris Heyl of Butler celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner at their home.

Heyl married the former Doris Kalchthaler on April 26, 1947, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pittsburgh.

They have three children, Linda Pickens of Butler, George Heyl of Cranberry Township and Rich Heyl of Portersville.

They also have four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Heyl is a retired auto mechanic.

Mrs. Heyl retired from Don’s Glass.
