Shirley A. Marchinoski Stutz
Shirley A. Marchinoski Stutz, 79, of Butler passed peacefully Saturday at home from a brave battle with pancreatic cancer with her children and family by her side.
She was born March 19, 1937, in Butler, to the late Frank Marchinoski and Grace E. Neyman Marchinoski.
Shirley retired from Magnetics after 28 years and worked at the Mental Health Association for eight years as a secretary. She enjoyed gambling and going to lunch with her best friends, Betty and Avenil. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Ruth Ann Stutz, Sharon Stutz, Ron Stutz and his wife, Carolyn Wymer, Don Stutz and his partner, George Pogoersckey, Judy Stutz Fendel, Cindy Stutz Hillwig and her husband, Jeff, and Bill Stutz; eight grandchildren, Tammy Fleeger, John Heck, Regina Heck, Tommy Fox, Josh Stutz, Keara Fendel, Jacob Stutz and Marah Fendel; one stepgrandson, Gary Hillwig and his wife, Tiffany; four great-grandchildren, Branndon Gerber, Jonathan Heck, Elizabeth Heck and Galaxie Fendel Bauer; two stepgranddaughter, Chelsey and Kaylene; one sister, Josephine Nemeth; and one half sister, Stella Hepler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Marchinoski and Frank Marchinoski Jr.; and one half brother, Gus Marchinoski.
STUTZ — Friends of Shirley A. Marchinoski Stutz, who died Saturday, March 11, 2017, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mental Health Association, 140 Elm St., Butler, PA 16001 or to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler, PA 16001.
