The Red Barn Players will conduct auditions for the summer season from 2 to 4 p.m. April 2 in Ellwood City and from 7 to 9 p.m. April 6 in Zelienople.

The Ellwood City auditions will be held at the Holy Redeemer Ministry Center, 603 Bridge St., while the Zelienople auditions will be at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 415 E. Grandview Ave.

Shows to be cast are:

“Not Now, Darling,” a comedy directed by Nancy Batko with a cast of five men and six women. Show dates are June 2-3, 8-10 and 15-17.

“Jesus Christ Superstar,” a musical directed by Jessica Patterson. Numerous parts for performers high school age and older. Show dates are July 7-8, 13-15 and 20-22.

“Beer for Breakfast,” a comedy directed by Tom Licker with a cast of three men and one woman. Show dates are Aug. 11-12, 17-19 and 24-26.

“Hilda’s Yard,” a comedy directed by Shelly Cary with a cast of three men and three women. Show dates are Sept. 15-16, 21-23 and 28-30.

Those auditioning for the musical are asked to prepare 16 to 32 bars of an up-tempo song and take along sheet music in the appropriate key, or an accompaniment disc.
