Mark Roxbury

Mark Roxbury, 70, of Butler peacefully passed on to be with Lord Jesus on Sunday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

His journey started Dec. 31, 1946, born in Butler, to the late Donald Roxbury and Margaret Pearse.

Mark worked as a laborer, being a member of USSW for Ervin Industries for nearly 35 years. Mark enjoyed the “great outdoors.” He was blessed with the gift of art and handiwork.

Mark is survived by his wife, Rhea Jean, who he wed July 27, 1968; his daughter, Tammy Marburger of Evans City; two sons, Timothy Roxbury of Butler and Daniel Roxbury and his wife, Tiffany, of Germany; three grandchildren, Brittany Ann Marburger, Devin Roxbury and Bradley Roxbury; one brother, Glenn Roxbury, and his wife, Janice, of Haymarket, Va.; one niece, Melanie Reetz; and two nephews, Todd and Jason Roxbury.

ROXBURY — A celebration of life ceremony for Mark Roxbury, who died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, for family and friends will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the North Butler Presbyterian Church, 137 N. Butler Church Road, Chicora.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Rhea Jean Roxbury, 430 N.
