Student Directory

Forty-seven Butler School District students in grades seven through 12 recently participated in the Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science competition at Slippery Rock University.

The following students received first place awards and qualified for the state meet at Penn State University in May:

Will Heineman, Kaylin Homa, Daylen Mavrodis, Paris Brown, Jacob Glath, Abbie Griffith, Andrea Jones, Chloe Paulisick, Taylor Reinsel, Kendra Slupe, Bethany Sowa,

Hayley Stein, Emma Stewart, Emma Teff, Emily Wilhelm, Lily Wong, Amanda Bishop, Lea Codispot, Emma Herold,

Jillian Ranko, Nathan Ellis, Logan Francis, Sophia Lex, Chad Meier, Ben Kalberer, Reed Kruger, Nicole Laborie, Jessica Bishop and Ben Wong.

The following students received second place awards:

Rebekah Kalberer, Dylan Ammon, Lauren Bash, Olivia Collins, Dylan Eyth, Lauren Hesidenz, Nadia Hindman, Lutitia Hornsby, Abby Kaelin, Katie Knights, Meghan Lewis, Dawson Pfabe, Hailey Powell, Mikayla Bernhard, Caitlin Rozell, Zachary Scott, Joseph Atkinson and Braden Pate.

Five students received special awards for their projects: Andrea Jones and Ben Wong received cash awards from the SRU math department for junior and senior high math projects.

Emma Teff, Logan Francis and Jessica Bishop received Director’s Awards for their projects.

The team sponsors are Ben Klugh and Veronica Sankey.
