Man, 24, faces charges of molesting girl, 4
A 24-year-old man is jailed on charges he molested a 4-year-old girl in Butler.
Randy Lee Fenstermaker Jr., who has no known address, admitted that he inappropriately touched the girl Monday at an apartment building in the 300 block of West Jefferson Street, Butler police said.
District Judge William Fullerton on Wednesday arraigned Fenstermaker on two felony counts each of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, corruption of minors and child endangerment and two misdemeanor counts of indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age.
He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail following arraignment.
The girl’s father notified authorities Wednesday of the allegations after she told him that the defendant had touched her private parts, according to court documents.
She also recounted to her father that Fenstermaker told her “not to tell her dad,” a police affidavit said.
Police Detective Lt. Anthony Fatta later that day interviewed the suspect at the police station. He acknowledged he fondled the girl and later told her, “Don’t tell your daddy,” documents said.
A preliminary hearing for Fenstermaker is set for March.
