Robert Tarbet shovels snow on the sidewalk along Main Street in Evans City this morning. Accumulation ranged from 1½ to 4 inches in the county.

Following the Wednesday night snowfall, 11 vehicle accidents were reported in Butler County between midnight and 8 a.m. today.

Butler County Emergency Services reported most of the accidents were minor.

A two-vehicle crash on Route 228 in Adams Township was reported in a 6:55 a.m. call to 911. No medical transport was required.

An abandoned vehicle that wrecked into a utility pole on Holyoke Road in Center Township was reported in a 2:20 a.m. call to 911.

The National Weather Service reported accumulation between 1½ inches in Slippery Rock and up to 4 inches in Saxonburg and Sarver.

The weather service forecasts scattered snow showers leading into this evening. The low tonight will be 12 with new accumulation of less than an inch possible.
