JACKSON TWP — Seneca Valley juniors Magdaline Hill and Isabella DeFabbo received awards in biology and chemistry, respectively, at Seton Hill University's 29th annual Women in Science Day.

Both students were nominated by their school's science teachers, Rebecca Finch and Kelly Weston.

Women in Science Day recognizes young women who excel in mathematics, biology or chemistry. The award includes a scholarship opportunity for Seton Hill.

ANNVILLE — Lauren Decker of Grove City was recognized as a Lebanon Valley College student-athlete named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's fall academic honor roll.

Decker is a graduate of Grove City High School. She is a member of the women's cross-country team and studying health science at Lebanon Valley.
