CT Heusey

HARMONY — The Harmony Fire District honored its own and community members at its second annual banquet Sunday.

The fire district recognized some of its volunteers with awards at the American Legion in Zelienople. About 160 people attended the banquet.

The following were recognized for their efforts in 2016:

- Scott Frederick — Chief’s Award (administration)

- Scott George — Chief’s Award (operations)

- Fred Bowser — President’s Award

- Doug Pickett Jr. — Douglas A. Pickett Leadership Award

- CT Heusey — Top responder

- Joe Ray — Most outside training hours

- Dale Hall — Recognition award for coordinating the training program

- Eric Marburger — Recognition award for his continued efforts on emergency response

- J.J. Kennedy Inc. — Community recognition award

- Scott Garing — 1st Chief badge.
