Hidden camera found at UPS facilityNORTH APOLLO — Authorities are investigating after officials say a hidden mobile camera was found hidden in a women’s restroom at a United Parcel Service satellite facility in western Pennsylvania.UPS spokeswoman Kim Krebs said Wednesday the person responsible for the camera found in the North Apollo facility has been identified and fired. Police have begun an investigation into the incident.North Apollo is a borough located about 34 miles east of Pittsburgh.The device was discovered by a female employee on Tuesday. Police say it’s unclear how long it was in the restroom.

Butter sculpture ready at farm showHARRISBURG — Signaling that the 2017 Pennsylvania Farm Show is about to open, the event’s annual butter sculpture has been revealed.The sculpture unveiled Thursday is called “A Culture of Stewardship” and pays tribute to dairy farmers, who the artists say are stewards of the land, air, water and community.About a half-ton of butter was used to create the piece, which shows a landscape of farms and undulating hillsides giving way to forest-covered peaks.The farm show gets under way Saturday for the general public at the Pennsylvania Farm Show complex in Harrisburg. It wraps up on Jan. 14.

Woman finds body in her backyardDORMONT — Police say a western Pennsylvania woman discovered the body of a man fatally shot in the backyard of her suburban Pittsburgh home when she went to let her dog outside.Allegheny County homicide detectives have identified the victim as 35-year-old Chaz Robinson, who investigators think may have been involved in gunfire that broke out Wednesday night in Dormont.Police were called to an intersection near the unidentified woman’s home around 8 p.m. Wednesday following reports of shots fired.Lt. Andrew Schurman says ballistic evidence was found at the scene, but no victims were located at that time.
