3 people hurt in 59-vehicle pileup on snowy, slick Interstate 80DUBOIS — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation says 59 vehicles crashed in a snowy pileup along Interstate 80, and three people were hurt.PennDOT spokesman Jim Carroll says 22 tractor-trailers and 37 cars are involved in the crash on Interstate 80 in Jefferson County.The county’s director of emergency services, Tracy Zents, says the three suffered minor to moderate injuries and were transported to hospitals.
Veteran prosecutor hired to be top deputy for attorney generalHARRISBURG — Pennsylvania’s attorney general-elect, Josh Shapiro, says his top deputy will be a suburban Philadelphia prosecutor who helped win a criminal conviction against former Attorney General Kathleen Kane.Shapiro said Thursday that he’s hiring Michelle Henry. She’s currently Bucks County’s first assistant district attorney.Henry, 48, is a 20-year veteran prosecutor who also served as Bucks County’s appointed district attorney for nearly two years.
