Man gets 5 to 10 years for crash that killed girl
PITTSBURGH — A man has been sentenced to five to 10 years in jail in what authorities said was a drunken-driving crash that killed a 6-year-old western Pennsylvania girl last year.
Travis Grayson, 22, pleaded guilty in Allegheny County to homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, driving under the influence and reckless endangerment.
Authorities said the Millvale resident was going 85 mph when he lost control of his car in September 2015 and hit Ava Lynn Campbell and her mother in front of a neighbor’s home. The girl’s mother survived.
