Joseph and Gertrude Ragan of Prospect celebrated 67 years of marriage with a family gathering at their home.

Ragan married the former Gertrude McGowan on Nov. 5, 1949, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have five children, Joseph Ragan, Helen Morris, Donald Ragan, James Ragan and Beverly McKinney, all of Prospect.

They also have nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Ragan retired from home construction and is a farmer.

Mrs. Ragan is a housewife and helps her husband on the farm.

The Ragans are members of St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Prospect.
