Joe and Mae Ritson

Joe and Mae Ritson of Butler celebrated 70 years of marriage with a family dinner at Rachel’s Roadhouse in Butler.

Ritson married the former Mae Lewis on Nov. 1, 1946, at Renfrew United Methodist Church in Renfrew.

They have four children, Elaine (John) Atkinson of Renfrew, Tyke (Wes) Vaughn of Meridian, Joe (Trish) Ritson of Butler and Jean (Bob) Snyder of Butler.

They also have nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Ritson is a retired business manager.

He is a member of American Legion Post 778.

Mrs. Ritson is a retired retail manager.

The Ritsons are members of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Butler.
