JACKSON TWP — An overheated oven Monday caused a small fire at the Lindy Paving plant on Route 528.

Firefighters with the Harmony and Evans City departments were dispatched around 11:15 a.m.

Crews quickly had the fire contained and stayed on scene for about an hour to clear smoke from the building.

There was minor damage to the equipment and building, said Harmony Fire Chief Scott Garing.

No one was injured.

Jackson Township Police and Harmony EMS also responded.
