Robert and Lela Shaner

Robert and Lela Shaner of Muddy Creek Township will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with their family.

Shaner married the former Lela Wise on Sept. 8, 1951, in Newport, Ky.

They are the parents of Brenda McCormick of Ellwood City, Mark(Diane) Shaner of Ellport and Eileen Shaner of Port St. Lucie,Fla.

They also have sixgrandchildren, four great- grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Shaner is a World War II Navy Air Force veteran and retired from Aetna-Standard/Blaw Knox in Ellwood City.

Mrs. Shaner is a homemaker.

They enjoy traveling and spending time with their family.

The Shaners are members of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Portersville.
