BUFFALO CHARGE

Fenelton United Methodist Church will host a picnic for McKee Chapel United Methodist Church of Fenelton and Craigsville United Methodist Church of Worthington, the other Buffalo Charge churches, Monday at Happy Hunter’s Sportsman’s Club, 676 Chicora-Fenelton Road, Fenelton.

There will be a meal at 6 p.m. Hot dogs and beverages will be provided. Take a covered dish.

BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE

Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, will continue Family Camp at 177 North Road through Sunday. There are services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. weekdays. There will be services at 10:45 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday. There is no cost to attend.

There will be a baptism service Friday afternoon at the camp. For information about being baptized by Pastor Blaise, call 724-482-4116.

CHRIST COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST

There will be no Monday night Bible study during August at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road. Bible study will resume in September.

The Rev. Fred Kison will be the speaker for the Sunday morning worship service.

A pickup game of basketball will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Enter at the ramp door of the gym.

COMMUNITY LIEF

Community Life Church holds service at McQuistion Elementary School.

Journey Kids Move Up Day will be Sunday. Preschoolers starting kindergarten this fall will transition from preschool to elementary. Toilet-trained 3-year-olds will transition from nursery to preschool.

COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN

The monthly cleaning day at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday.

The noisy offering of loose change will be received during the Sunday worship service.

FIRST BAPTIST

David and Terri Fisher, missionaries to Chile, will speak at the Sunday morning worship service at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St.

There will be a worship service at 6 p.m. Sunday.

The Women’s Missionary Fellowship will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

The beginner department will have a picnic at Carol Stamm’s home at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.

GRACE@CALVARY LUTHERAN

Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. Diamond St., will present the movie “Sign Painters” at 2 p.m. Saturday in the sanctuary in conjunction with the Butler Walldogs.

Church members will serve the community dinner at First English Lutheran Church Monday. Set up will be at 4 p.m. and dinner will be at 5 p.m.

Ladies’ Night Out will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Rock Ann Haven, 141 Greenwood Drive.

GRACEWAY

GraceWay meets at the Center Township Elementary School on Mercer Road.

Amber Crowe and Andre Parker will provide the special music during the Sunday worship service.

The church will sponsor a trailer of items for the flood victims in West Virginia. Donations of cleaning supplies will be accepted at the trailer from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Sam’s Club, 200 Moraine Pointe Plaza.

HARVEST COMMUNITY

Harvest Community Church in Petroleum Valley, 118 North Fairview Main St., Petrolia, will send another work team in August to help clean in the area recently flooded in West Virginia. To participate, contact the church office at 724-548-5643 and leave a message.

HILL UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The sacrament of baptism will be administered and new members will be received during the Sunday worship service at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.

The deacons will host an ice cream social following worship.

The women’s book club will meet at 9 a.m. Aug. 4 at Mac’s Route 8 Cafe, 16 Pittsburgh Road.

The church office will be closed Friday.

MARS UNITED PRESBYTERIAN

The Rev. William Jackson will be the guest minister for both Sunday services at Mars United Presbyterian Church, 232 Crowe Ave., Mars.

The buildings and grounds committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The mission and outreach meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GOD

North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will have its annual congregational business meeting after the Sunday worship service. A copy of the proposed bylaws revisions is available at the welcome center.

Tickets are available for the “Secret Keeper Girl Mother/Daughter Event” at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 23. at the church. This live show is for mothers and their daughters ages 7 to 12. ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN

St. John’s Lutheran Church of Connoquenessing, 100 Main St., Connoquenessing, will have an outdoor worship service in the pavilion at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A There will be a catered lunch after the service.

There will be a pavilion cleanup day at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

ST. LUKE'S LUTHERAN

St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will celebrate the 8 and 10 a.m. Sunday worship services with special music by Timothy Sutton.

The prayer circle will meet at noon Tuesday for lunch and at 12:30 p.m. for prayer.

The biking ministry will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Marwood Road trailhead.

ST. MARK'S EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN

The youths of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St., will return from their retreat today.

“3T” will meet in the fellowship hall at 9 a.m. Monday. Ruth Circle will not meet this week.

TRINITY LUTHERAN

Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township, will have a bonfire after the 5:30 p.m. service Saturday.

The 10 a.m. Sunday worship service will be in the picnic pavilion. Take a chair.
