Hazel E. (Morrow) Karwoski
Hazel E. (Morrow) Karwoski, 84, of Gibsonia died Saturday at the Armstrong County Health Center.
She was born on July 7, 1931, in Kittanning to the late John and Sarah (Slagle) Morrow. She was a lifelong resident of the area.
She was a member of the Bakerstown United Methodist Church.
She loved spending time at her camp in Mosgrove along the Allegheny River. She liked water skiing, bowling, playing cards and slot machines.
She was a very hard worker and worked with her son at Penn Tire up until the time of her stroke.
She enjoyed making Christmas cookies with her daughter every Christmas. The thing she enjoyed the most was being with her family no matter where that happened to be.
She is survived by a son, David Karwoski of Butler; a daughter, Tanya (Dave) Bruno of Dayton, Pa.; five grandchildren, Nikki Karwoski, Sarah Karwoski, Nathan Karwoski, Alyssa Bruno and Keeley Bruno; and two brothers, John Morrow of Alamo, Calif., and Robert Morrow of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George Karwoski, who passed away in 2003.
KARWOSKI — Friends of Hazel E. (Morrow) Karwoski, who died Saturday, June 11, 2016, will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Kennedy and Blodgett Funeral Home in Kittanning with the Rev. Dennis Swineford officiating.Interment will be in the Kittanning Cemetery.
