SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mercer County — State police still are looking for help from the public to identity suspects in an armed robbery that happened early on June 14 at the Marathon Service Station at 1844 S. Center St. Extension.

Trooper Joseph Morris, who is leading the investigation, said the police have no new information and still are seeking the suspects’ identities.

“We did receive several tips but none of those have panned out,” he said.

There are at least two suspects. The first suspect was the unmasked man who robbed the store at gunpoint.

He is about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, heavy set, about 230-250 pounds, and in his late 20s to early 30s, with a short buzz cut and blonde or light brown hair.

The other suspect drove the vehicle that allowed the suspects to flee.
