CENTER TWP — Road paving contracts were OK’d Wednesday night by the township supervisors.

A motion was passed to pay Russell Standard of Union City $70,948 to do seal coat paving while a motion was passed to pay Shields Asphalt Paving $177,562 to do asphalt paving.

Roads in Clearview Manor, Manor Hill Drive, Manor Court, and Spring Ridge Drive, will be paved as will roads in Westwood Manor, Cornell Drive, Oberlin Drive, and Amherst Drive.

Windward Apartments roads Leeward Drive and Windy Drive also will be paved.

Township Supervisor Ronald Flatt said the paving is expected to be finished by late July or early August.
