Savannah 40th anniversary
Charles and Linda Savannah of Butler celebrated 40 years of marriage at a surprise luncheon with family and friends at Cooper Station Restaurant in Sarver.
Savannah married the former Linda Cogley on June 5, 1976, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.
They have three children, Rachelle (Scott) Haberberger of Sarver, Chad (Christina) Savannah of Butler and Corey (Erica) Savannah of Butler.
They also have four grandchildren.
Savannah retired from management at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He is a member of the board of directors for Butler Transit Authority, chairman of Butler County Hospital Authority, a member of Sons of Italy, a member of American Legion Post 117 and a volunteer for the Butler County winter relief center.
Mrs. Savannah is a homemaker.
She is a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post 117 and a volunteer for the Butler County winter relief center. She was involved with St. Paul’s Cub Scout Pack 6 for 11 years and served as the Tigercub coach, school coordinator and den leader and as a pack committee member.
