Cherie and Art Schultz

Art and Cherie Schultz of Butler will celebrate 40 years of marriage with an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Meridian United Presbyterian Church, 4150 Highland Ave., Meridian.

Schultz married the former Cherie Newcome on April 9, 1976, at Thorncreek United Methodist Church in Butler.

They have two children, Todd (Katie) Schultz of Butler and Brian (Amy) Schultz of Butler.

They also have two grandchildren.

Schultz has his own business as a tile floor contractor.

He is a member of the Butler Area Street Machine Association.

Mrs. Schultz is a retired paraprofessional.

She is the secretary of the Butler Area Street Machine Association.
