One person was hurt late Monday afternoon when a pickup truck and motorcycle collided in Butler, city police said.

Dakota A. Lechner, 20, of Jefferson Township, who was driving the cycle, suffered minor injuries. He was treated at the scene but refused further treatment.

Police said Lechner was northbound on Ball Park Street about 5:35 p.m. when he pulled in front of a pickup truck driven by Alexander J. Welter, 20, of West Sunbury, which was traveling west on West Cunningham Street.

According to police, Lechner faces tickets for careless driving, a stop sign violation and driving without insurance.
