Connor Scott had a goal and three assists Tuesday night as Butler’s varsity hockey team closed the regular season with a 5-2 win over Shaler at the Alpha Ice Complex.

Ben Rodgers scored a pair of goals for the Golden Tornado (12-7-1). Christopher Martin and Trevor Gilliland also scored for Butler.

Shaler (5-14-1) received third-period goals from Alex Ficorilli and Stepghen Stayduhar to avoid the shutout.

Jacob Curry and Zachary Schnur divided time in goal for Butler. Curry stopped 12 of 14 shots while Schnur had 10 saves.
