Bullen 100th birthday
Catherine Dillon Bullen of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Butler, will celebrate her 100th birthday with a luncheon Jan. 22 in Silver Spring.
The former Olive Catherine Stehle was born Jan. 22, 1916, in Butler. She married the late Judge John C. Dillon Feb. 5, 1949, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She married the late John H. Bullen Jan. 3, 1989, at St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church in Gaithersburg, Md.
She has four children, the Rev. John J. Dillon of Derwood, Md., James C. Dillon of Gaithersburg, the late Catherine C. Dillon, and Annemarie D. Casey of Las Vegas.
She also has five grandchildren.
Bullen is retired. Before her marriage, she worked at American Bantam Automotive Company, the Paper Board in Washington, D.C., during World War II and Heckett Engineering Company.
She is a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Burtonsville, Md.
