Mary Scialabba

Mary Scialabba of New Castle will celebrate her 100th birthday with a family dinner at Bravo Italian Restaurant in Cranberry Township.

The former Mary Marks was born Jan. 4, 1916, in Greenville. She married the late Peter Scialabba on Oct. 2, 1935, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

She has four children, Marie Bove of Smithtown, N.Y., A. Vincent Scialabba of New Castle, the late Donald Scialabba, formerly of Butler, and Trina Rockenstein of Butler. She also has 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Scialabba is the former owner of the Spillway Bar and Restaurant in Butler.

She is a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.
