BUFFALO TWP — The Freeport School Board on Wednesday voted to change when it meets.

Board members decided to change meetings to 7:30 p.m. on the first and second Thursday of each month.

For several years, the board has met on the first and second Wednesday of each month.

By moving to Thursday nights, the board avoids a conflict with the Buffalo Township supervisors meetings.

Also at the meeting the board re-elected Dan Lucovich as board president, elected Barbara Toy-Gaydos as first vice president and Frank Prazenica as second vice president.

Elected in November, newcomer Melanie Bollinger replaced Mark Shoaf.
