Mars Area High School will have its homecoming parade at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, in Mars, preceding the football game against the Blackhawk Cougars at 7 p.m. at Mars Athletic Complex.

The homecoming queen will be crowned at halftime. Queen candidates are seniors Jordan Bender, Katie Blake, Kaya Gillespie, Paige Lauten, Layla Lewandowski, Marin Raible, Lila Schrecengost and Jenna Smith. Honorary court member is exchange student Stefi Baila.

The week will conclude with Mars Area High School’s 2026 homecoming dance from 7 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Mars Area Middle School.

The homecoming king will be crowned during the dance. King candidates are seniors Brian Biaku, Gus Coffield, Blake Cote, Jameson Dickman, Jameson Garvin, Adam Genevro, Maddox Schumann and Chase Stamper.
