FINDLEY TWP, Mercer County — A Grove City woman suffered major injuries Tuesday morning in a head-on collision on Route 58.

Police said a westbound car driven by Lisa M. Guyaux, 44, crossed the center line of the highway about 6:35 a.m.

An oncoming pickup truck driven by Jonathan C. Clark, 26, of New Wilmington steered his vehicle into the opposite lane to in an attempt to avoid a collision, but Guyaux also swerved back into her lane and struck the pickup head-on.

Guyaux was not wearing a seat belt, police said. She suffered major injuries and was taken to the Grove City Medical Center.

Police did not know why Guyaux crossed the center line. She was cited for a traffic lane violation.
