Ryan 90th birthday
Charles Francis Ryan of Worthington celebrated his 90th birthday with a family dinner at Sugar Creek Rest in Worthington.
He was born Nov. 11, 1925, in Butler. He married the former Dorothy Grace Young on June 25, 1949, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.
He has 11 children, Darlene Geibel of Chicora, Charles Ryan of Chicora, Dennis Ryan of Fenelton, Brenda Werner of Chicora and Florida, Marsha Sanders of Grove City, Ohio, Lisa Wahler of Butler, Bradley Ryan of Butler, JoeDee Ryan of Chicora, Todd Ryan of Chicora, Amy Spatig of Butler and the late Jeffrey Ryan.
He also has 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Ryan was the foreman of the paint department at Pullman Standard.
He is a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in North Oakland.
He also is a member of the Chicora American Legion and the VFW.
