Butler Vo-Tech gets principal in time for start of new year
BUTLER TWP — Butler Vocational-Technical School has a new principal to kick off the new school year.
Regina Hiler began working on Aug. 17. She has a three-year contract with an $80,000 starting salary. Hiler was previously principal at Lawrence County Vocational-Technical School in New Castle.
She replaces Kurt Speicher, who was named Butler Vo-Tech’s director in June.
“We’re very excited to have someone with a career and technical education background, and we’re looking forward to moving forward,” Speicher said.
Classes begin at the vo-tech on Sept. 2.
