Dorothy Myers

Dorothy Myers of Portersville will celebrate her 97th birthday with a family dinner in Melbourne, Fla.

The former Dorothy Beighley was born March 29, 1918, in Ellwood City. She married the late Ernest Myers on Aug. 28, 1943, at Mountville Presbyterian Church in Portersville.

She has three children, Richard Myers of Rockledge, Fla., Beth Patton of Portersville and Sue Haggerty of Saxonburg. She also has three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Myers is a retired teacher. She is a member of Portersville Presbyterian Church and Keenagers.
