Racist graffiti found at university
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, Pa. — Historically black Lincoln University outside Philadelphia said it’s investigating after racially disparaging graffiti was discovered on a sign at an entrance to the campus.
Campus public safety discovered the vandalism at 1:50 a.m. Thursday.
Acting President Valerie Harrison called the graffiti a display of ignorance and hatred and said in a letter to students that it’s a sober reminder of the hatred and intimidation past generations overcame.
