Saylor 50th anniversary
Gary “Butch” and Norma Saylor celebrated 50 years of marriage with a surprise celebration for family and friends at the Fairview Township Municipal Building in Karns City.
Saylor married the former Norma Huff on Jan. 16, 1965, at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ near Chicora.
They have three sons, Gary Jr. (Melissa) of Palmyra, Richard (Terri) of Karns City and Patrick (Brooke) of Newmanstown.
They also have five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.
Saylor retired from Indspec Chemical.
Mrs. Saylor retired from the Karns City School District as a technology aide.
The couple enjoys spending time with their families and camping at Lake Erie.
The Saylors are members of Faith Community Church, a United Methodist congregation, in Bruin.
