Gene and Ada Myers

Gene and Ada Myers of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage with a family dinner in Butler.

Myers married the former Ada Johnson on Jan. 29, 1955, in Butler.

They have six children, Debbie (Tom) Ewing of Butler, Pam (Lee) Mrocek of Butler, Lori Manfredi of Merritt Island, Fla., Shari (John) Franasiak of Cocoa Beach, Fla., the late Buddy Gene Myers Jr. and Wendy (Bob) Scanlon of Butler.

They also have 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Myers is a retired truck driver.

Mrs. Myers is a housewife.
